Andy Zemon works as the Branch Manager with Novus Home Mortgage in their branch located in Crozet, Virginia. He is responsible for the significant growth of this branch and has helped more than 3,500 families achieve their dream over his 22+ year career. He has funded over 1 billion in loans and prides himself on being able to do the hard ones. As such, he’s active in the actual origination of virtually every loan he’s closed and certainly knows his way around the guidelines. His biggest work accomplishment is putting together what is widely recognized as the best mortgage team in his market. He has been fortunate over his multi decade career to work with some amazing people and the team that he has assembled is his pride and joy at the office!
Andy's passion is providing mortgage-based financial plans and is the preferred lender for some of the area's top builders and Realtors. Andy is also one of the nation's most recognized mortgage planners. He is currently a coach and graduate for Cindy Ertman with the defining difference and her esteemed Mortgage Mastery Elite Program. Andy is also recognized as one of a handful of Loan Professionals to have achieved Level 3 Graduate and 15+ years of CORE Coaching. With the additional designation of CMPS, the combination of these achievements as well as his numerous top producer awards has helped him amass one of the finest “Higher Mortgage Education” resumes in the business.
Before moving back to his hometown of Charlottesville, Andy worked in business development in the Washington, D.C. area. He received his degree in Consumer Affairs at The Ohio State University. He is a past player of the Virginia Men's Rugby Club and has volunteered over 10,000 hours with the Seminole Trail Volunteer Fire Department in Albemarle County as both a driver and firefighter.
Andy is married to his beautiful wife, Chanda, an orthodontist in the area, and together they have three beautiful girls named Stella, Libby, and Hattie, and a handsome young son named Henry. His children are active in sports including Softball and Soccer which Andy helps coach. They have a passion and love for vacationing to Disney World and to the U.S. Virgin Islands, specifically the island of St. John. Chances are if you cannot find him in Charlottesville, he and his family are in one of the other two fantastic locations!
