I initially started my home buying process intending to use my normal bank (a large national bank) as my mortgage lender. However, I was dissatisfied with their communication and lack of "personal touch." When the sellers agreed to our offer, I was given a recommendation to give Bank of England Texas a try, so I made the last second decision to switch to BOE and I'm glad I did!Shawn and the BOE team were incredible to work with! As a first time home buyer, I had no idea what to expect; I didn't know much about my options, next steps, etc. The BOE team was very informative throughout the entire process; they were consistently keeping me informed on what was happening with the loan, and were always more than willing to answer any questions in detail. Additionally, they were very fast, first contact to closing was only about 3 weeks! I really felt like I was a priority to them, and would recommend them to anyone!

Staff was very nice and basically walked me through the refinance process holding my hand every step of the way. BOE Texas did a tremendous job in helping me refinance my property and highly recommend anyone use them for their personal residence loan needs. I was skeptical when I spoke to Shawn and his team about refinancing my house because I had spoken to literally 20 other mortgage brokers who said it couldn't be done. I'm self-employed with many different businesses and all the other mortgage brokers said my financial picture was too complicated to underwrite. I close commercial real estate deals with zero problems, but getting a single family loan was difficult because of all my depreciation losses. BOE took a common sense approach to my refi and they were able to get the loan approve in a pretty seamless manner given the complexity of my financial situation.
